James Densmore Services

James Densmore, painter and faux finisher, lives in the greater Orlando, Florida area with his wife of 26 years. He was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree 1977. Mr. Densmore expanded his education to include private lessons in faux finishing techniques from the owner of Fe Fi Faux in Orlando, FL, as well as studying in various classroom settings. His most recent training was received in Riviera Beach, FL, where he successfully completed a 3 day hands-on course in applying authentic Italian lime plasters, at which time Dimensions Plaster and Decorative Fine Finishes certified Mr. Densmore as an Artisan Applicator of European techniques. James Densmore Services was established in 1995, concentrating on faux finishing and fine European plasters for the last 7 years. Mr. Densmore does all his own prep work, so there is never a need to hire an outside paint crew. He works neatly and leaves each home or office better than he found it.
